My name is David Agar, CEO of GO-SIM. I feel it is only fair that I should respond to the last comment from the couple who were travelling to Japan.
GO-SIM has an excellent reputation for providing an excellent level of service and customer support. This is not merely my opinion, but is based on the fact that we receive many unsolicited testimonials every month. That said, it is always concerning to hear that a customer feels they had a bad experience.
Although the comment does not mention the author by name, as we have relatively few complaints I feel confident that I can identify the particular situation referred to. Without going into detail, I have spoken at length with our Customer Services Manager about the circumstances, and am totally satisfied that all airtime credits purchased were in fact added promptly (within minutes, by our automated system). It is impossible for call data records to be generated if the service is not being unused eg whilst travelling on a plane. It could be that the mis-understanding has arisen simply because the call data that our system provided is based on CET rather than the time zone in Japan (which is typically 8 hours ahead).
I appreciate that in business it is not always possible to please every customer, even though this is what we strive for on a daily basis at GO-SIM. I’m sorry that the author felt unhappy with the outcome of his query – clearly not what the author hoped for. Nevertheless I would personally encourage him to re-contact us, if only to show that we remain willing to look at any concern he may have. I can’t promise he will hear the words he would like to hear, but I can guarantee that his issue will continue to be addressed honestly, openly and with total integrity.

Definately not worth it.
After you struggle through the ridiculously long process to add credit to your account it takes 36 hours to show up on your balance.
Worse still, when my partner and I recently travelled to Japan our credit never showed up (despite charging both credit cards), when we questioned them on this they said we had used all our balance up on data usage. However when we asked to see our bill all the data usage showed up as being on the day before we arrived, (when we were on the plane) and about 24hrs before we had even added any credit.
Customer service is slow and unhelpful. In the end we lost all our money to them.

The price for the gosim card is actually only £10 on their site - less than stated on here and the rates seem to have reduced a lot as well. I have used my gosim card a lot and without any problems at all - highly recommend it to anyone

I bought a card from GO-SIM and was a bit worried about whether it would actually work - but it did, saved about 120 quid on my first business trip and as far as I can see there are no catches - I would recommend it to others

They have gateway numbers on their site so that its cheap to call the Global SIM.

Great service - it just works and saves a fortune on mobile calls when abroad this year. I notice that their site has been updated and you can now pick up a gosim card for £10

This is an Estonian number and I have used this all over the Baltic countries and in Sweden and it works perfectly.

This sim card works ok, but it is an icelandic number, but for making calls it's very useful
